Made from 1.5 meters (5 feet) of 2mm bowden cable, these snares incorporate the GSW breakaway barrel eye for non target species, a deer stop (not set), plastic tealer sleeve and a 1.5 inch galvanized wire swivel. Loaded with a 10 inch noose to ensure they are the fastest closing snares around. NB: It is now a legal requirement in Scotland that all fox snares have a deer stop fitted.

Made from 2.5mm heavily galvanised wire. Devised by Glenn Waters as a means of reducing harm to non target species such as deer. To date no fox has escaped from this device, but many non target species have broken free as per the design, including badgers and deer. Although we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the breakaway eye in all situations we believe that this device has improved the humane snaring of foxes dramatically.
